People Are Cracking up Over What This 150-Pound Cane Corso Is Terrified Of

Cane Corsos, also known as Italian Mastiffs, are famous for their enormous size and intimidating appearance, but they're not always nearly as tough as they look. My parents have one named Tootsie, and despite looking absolutely terrifying to strangers, she's honestly one of the biggest babies I've ever met.

Cerberus is another giant 150-pound Cane Corso who looks like he's a fearless guard dog, and maybe he normally is. But during a recent vet visit, the massive pup found himself face-to-face with something that totally shattered his tough guy reputation. The second Cerberus spotted what scared him, he immediately tucked his tail and tried to run away, leaving viewers laughing at the hilariously unexpected fear.

That turtle planter sure looked scary to us! Cerberus's mom joked in the caption, "I think I got a scaredy cat instead of a guard dog." He's just a baby!

Viewer Reactions to This Giant Cane Corso's Tiny Fear Are Hilarious

Viewers were cracking up over Cerberus's ridiculous fear, and shared what their own Cane Corsos are afraid of. @Mary51 shared, "My Cane Corso is scared of bubbles."

@Alex Cain could also relate, "Ugh, I feel this! Mine is scared of walking on hard surfaces." @CC shared, "Mine is scared of trash bags, shopping carts, scooters, etc..." @Stephanie added, "Mine is afraid of water and bathtime." @Gabby laughed, "LOL! Mine is scared of a horse head statue at a feed store!"

Commenter @B-Pal said, "Right, but they are 'so scary!' No, it's people just don't get it!" @Jen agreed, "It might be the little things, but when it comes down to business, it's their natural instinct to protect their family with no hesitation."

We couldn't agree more. These dogs are fierce protectors, and even if they are normally gentle, their bark alone would send a stranger running the other way.
