If you've ever had a gourmet meal so good that you think about it years later, you'll understand where Cartier, a 14-week-old Bengal cat, is coming from. This vocal kitty is so passionate about his 7 a.m. breakfast that he's praising the universe with every single bite-and he's cracking people up with the drama!

original sound - DEFINITLEY not Olivia

The hilarious clip shared by cat mom Olivia (@defsnotoliviaa) is 32 seconds of Cartier screaming about his scrumptious food intercut with Mom absolutely losing it! The Bengal kitten clearly approves of whatever feast Mom made, and he can't help but leave a live review then and there!

After watching the clip five more times, I can relate. I had the best meal of my life at Ramsay's Kitchen in Las Vegas, and I still have vivid dreams about every part of it. Nothing will ever be as good as that, and I think Cartier is feeling that with his yummy breakfast.

Why Some Cats Are More Vocal Than Others

You know the chatty cats when you see them-or hear them, like with Cartier! Many felines make noise because of genetics, it's a learned behavior (like to get treats!), or they're communicating with their humans for one reason or another. Because they only meow for us and not each other, pay attention to what type of meow it is.

According to the ASPCA's "Meowing and Yowling Guide," cats can be vocal for a few normal reasons, such as:

  • To say hello
  • For attention
  • To request food, water, or to go outside
  • To find a mate

In Cartier's defense, his food is drool-worthy. Take a look at what has him so riled up as he helps Mom in the kitchen.

Despite the food cheers, Dr. Sandra C. Mitchell, DVM, DABVP, explains via PetMD that understanding cat vocalizations matters because for some, it's a cry for help. It could mean they're in pain, stressed out, or have an underlying condition that requires a vet visit-especially if they're in their senior era.

Boredom is another reason some cats yap, but it's also more common in specific breeds like Siamese and Asian lineages. Bengal cats are known chatter boxes, and if the food is *really* good, they're going to want to shout about it just like Cartier!
