Bunny and Cat Siblings Explore Their New Backyard for the First Time in Magical Clip
If you've ever wondered what pure joy looks like, plan a time to take your indoor pets outside with supervised exploration time. Not only will you see another side of them, but by opening that part of their ancient, instinctual need to hunt or chase, you might even have a happier fur baby.
This is what one family did with their cat crew and resident bunny, and let me tell ya-watching their reactions is pure magic!
@thelexibunch They finally have a backyard to freely run around! We've always took them outside a lot but it's been under close supervision and/or on leash. Now they can be freeee what should we add to their new space first? #happypets#freeroambunny#petparent#petsoftiktok#happycats
Sunny Spring Morn - DailyJoy
I can't decide if I'm more excited about the cats running free or the bunny hopping around with reckless abandon. Both are adorable and make my entire week better!
Even with so much cuteness, there's one bunny who didn't feel like joining in the fun, but that's OK. I think the rest of them had a field day regardless!

I don't think one video of this sweet fam will suffice when there's even more excitement to be had. In a follow-up clip, the furry friends continued having a blast, which officially makes "yard adventures" my favorite thing ever!

The Benefits of Outdoor Exploration for Pets
It may seem obvious, but even cats and floppy-eared bunnies would love outside time. By giving pets access to a fenced, safe, and supervised yard to roam free has a laundry list of benefits. Along with stimulating their mind and burning off excess energy, you're giving them the chance to tap into their natural instincts.
Like hunting prey, just the act of chasing each other around in the fresh air can be enough to make them feel wild and free, if only for a little bit. Not only can this strengthen your bond with them, but it help reduce boredom, preventing destructive behaviors inside the house.
After watching @thelexibunch have so much fun, I'm thinking it's time to find a way for my cats to have a similar experience-if for no other reason than to watch them frolic and pounce around like it's the best day ever!
