Krispy Kreme Just Dropped He-Man Doughnuts
By the power of Grayskull… your next sugar rush just got a serious upgrade.
Krispy Kreme is leaning hard into ‘80s nostalgia with a limited-edition "Masters of the Universe" doughnut collection, timed to the upcoming live-action He-Man movie-and it's exactly the kind of over-the-top, pop-culture food drop that feels engineered for fans who grew up on action figures, Saturday morning cartoons, and pure sugar highs.
This isn't just a random menu stunt. It's part of a larger push to revive one of the most iconic toy franchises of all time-and yes, it comes with toppings.
A Sugar-Fueled Trip Back to Eternia
The collection, which launched May 26 at participating U.S. locations, is built around three character-inspired doughnuts pulled straight from the world of He-Man.
Leading the charge is the He-Man Caramel Crunch Doughnut: A classic Original Glazed doughnut dipped in red caramel icing, with cheesecake-flavored buttercream, finished with graham-flavored crumble and a He-Man topper. It's big, loud, and unapologetically indulgent-basically the edible equivalent of a power-up.
On the darker side, there's the Skeletor Double Chocolate Doughnut: A chocolate-lover's overload filled with custard, coated in chocolate icing, and covered in cookie crumble. It's as villainous as you'd expect.
Rounding out the trio is the Cringer Claw Cookie Dough Doughnut: A slightly lighter but still sugar-heavy Original Glazed topped with cookie dough icing. Think comfort food with a nostalgic twist.
You can grab them individually or as part of a special-edition box that looks like it belongs in the He-Man world.
Why He-Man-and Why Now?
If this all feels perfectly timed, it's because it is.
The release ties directly into the new live-action Masters of the Universe movie, which hits U.S. theaters on June 5, 2026. The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man and Jared Leto as Skeletor, bringing the muscle-bound hero back to the big screen nearly 40 years after the last live-action attempt.
For a generation that grew up with the original toy line (launched in the early '80s) and animated series, the comeback taps into a deep well of nostalgia.
Like any good ‘80s throwback, the message is simple: Heroes act fast-because these probably won't be around for long.
