Anyone with a pet knows they somehow always seem to know exactly when dinner is supposed to happen, and Paige's dramatic cat, Birdie, does not tolerate late service.

The furious feline made it very clear that even a slightly delayed dinner was completely unacceptable, and the deeply offended look on Birdie's face instantly let Mom know she was unhappy about Paige getting home late from work. Even though Paige is still sitting safely in the car, something tells us she'll need to proceed with caution when she finally has to walk past Birdie to get inside the house.

Paige joked in the caption, "Sorry girl," and it's probably safe to say she'll be sleeping with one eye open tonight!

Viewer Reactions to This Cat's Dinnertime Meltdown Are Hilarious

Some of the more than 1,800 comments viewers left were just as funny as the look on Birdie's face. Like @Christy, who got 26k likes when she joked, "She said, 'GYAITMFHRNBIBYA' LOL!!"

@Dru got close to 32k likes simply by sharing a screenshot of Birdie's angry face. @ThatsMyToothbrush cracked everybody up when they added, "Bowl's not gonna fill itself, PAIGE."

Even @Walmart joined in on the fun, commenting, "She filed the incident report before you even parked." Another commenter agreed, "She would like to speak to your manager."@Derek! added what Birdie was probably thinking: "By all means, move at a glacial pace. You know how that thrills me..."

Commenter @Mia shared, "Oh, she MAD mad." Cats are creatures of habit who thrive on routines, especially when it comes to mealtime. Forever Vets explains that when feeding schedules change, cats' internal hunger clocks kick in, often leading to demanding behavior, vocal complaints, and yes, dramatic attitudes.

They can also hold grudges, so keeping mealtimes consistent is usually the safest option, even if that means using an automatic feeder. Unless you enjoy being aggressively judged from the driveway.
