Valley Laser and Skin marks 5 years with remodeled Wenatchee site
Valley Laser and Skin hosted a five-year ribbon-cutting celebration Thursday for its full-service medical aesthetics and wellness practice serving Wenatchee residents and surrounding communities.
Located at 620 N. Emerson Ave., Suite 101, in Wenatchee, the business offers medical aesthetic treatments including laser hair removal, tattoo removal, spider vein treatment, skin rejuvenation, acne and acne scar treatment, rosacea and melasma management, wrinkle reduction, pigmentation correction, removal of benign skin lesions and birthmarks, and Botox and filler injections.
Valley Laser and Skin owner Corinne Wei took over Valley Plastic Surgery from Dr. Kenneth Jones on May 1, 2021. An advanced nurse practitioner with experience in Singapore and Australia, Wei brought two decades of family nursing experience and work alongside plastic surgery professionals abroad to transform the business.
"Since then, we have grown from a traditional cosmetic practice into a comprehensive medical aesthetics and wellness center," Wei said. "Today, we offer advanced laser treatments, skin rejuvenation, body contouring, hormone optimization, medical weight management, and women's wellness services - all under one roof."
Although rewarding, Wei said the practice faces challenges from customers traveling to larger metropolitan areas for treatments.
"One challenge is that many locals are unaware of the scope of our services and still travel to Seattle or Spokane for advanced aesthetic treatments," Wei said. "Our mission has been to bring the latest technologies and treatment options directly to our community."
Wei said much of the business's growth has come through word-of-mouth referrals, which she considers the highest compliment a business can receive.
"One of the most rewarding aspects is the strong sense of community. Wenatchee still has a small-town feel, where people share their positive experiences with friends and family," she said.
Wei said the practice's main focus is helping customers improve their well-being.
"The other aspect that motivates us most is seeing patients gain confidence and feel better about themselves. Whether we are helping someone improve their skin, lose weight, restore hair, address hormonal concerns, or simply feel refreshed, we are honored to be part of their journey," she said. "We treat our patients the same way we would want our own family members to be treated - with honesty, compassion, and personalized care."
Wei said the business has assisted a wide range of clients, including former gang members seeking tattoo removal, people reentering the workforce and survivors of human trafficking. The business removed 150 tattoos last month and gives discounts to human trafficking victims.
Regarding the ribbon-cutting event, Wei said it "is especially meaningful because it coincides with our expansion into a larger, newly remodeled location."
Originally located on the building's second floor in a 1,400-square-foot space, the practice relocated to the first floor and expanded to 1,900 square feet with five treatment rooms.
