Internet Is Shocked by How Unbothered This Black Cat Is About Literally Everything
Most cats are dramatic about something, but this laid-back black cat seems to have achieved a level of inner peace the rest of us can only dream about. No matter what's happening around him, his mom, Mak, says he barely reacts, leaving viewers both impressed and totally entertained by his completely unbothered attitude.
Mak jokingly refers to him as her "Craigslist cat," because that's where she got him, and she's not entirely convinced he's a real cat at this point. He's completely unfazed by water, showers with her every day, and apparently doesn't care how she holds him. But it doesn't stop there; after bath time, this black cat gets the zoomies just like a dog.

Why Some Cats Act Like Dogs
If you have a dog at home, they probably sleep in hilarious positions sometimes, exposing their belly with all four legs straight up in the air. It's usually a sign they feel completely safe and comfortable around you, and they probably won't even flinch if you rub their belly or play with their paws...kind of like Mak's unusually chill black cat.
And of course, everyone knows dogs are famous for getting the zoomies. So why do some cats seem to act more like dogs? According to Auburndale Veterinary Clinic, cats and dogs actually share a lot of similarities. Both communicate through body language, including tail position, ear movements, facial expressions, and overall posture. It's how they "talk" to other animals and to us.
Another possible explanation is that some cats learn behaviors from living alongside dogs, especially if they spend a lot of time playing, eating, and sleeping together.
Auburndale Veterinary Clinic also notes that some cats simply enjoy the extra attention these unusual behaviors bring. "Some cats love to be the center of attention and will do anything to get it, including acting like dogs." They specifically point to breeds like the Abyssinian and Oriental Shorthair as examples of cats known for especially social and attention-seeking personalities.
Mak may technically have a pet cat, but we're starting to think that this little guy is convinced he's actually part dog.
