Mick Foley to Debut in AEW at Double or Nothing This Sunday
A three-time WWE Champion and Hall of Famer is, indeed, on his way to All Elite Wrestling.
On Wednesday, AEW president Tony Khan announced that Mick Foley will debut for the company at Sunday's Double or Nothing pay-per-view. Foley will co-host the "Buy In" pre-show with Renee Paquette (formerly Renee Young in WWE).

Last week, Jon Alba of The Takedown at Sports Illustrated reported that AEW had "interest in" signing Foley. In December, Foley said that he would leave the WWE when his Legends contract expired in June.
There are eight confirmed matches on the card for Double or Nothing 2026, including Darby Allin vs. MJF (a title vs. hair match for the AEW World Championship), Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kazuchika Okada for the AEW International Championship and Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander vs. Thekla vs. Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's World Championship.
Mick Foley Is the Latest WWE Legend to Join AEW
AEW has successfully numerous of WWE Hall of Famers and main-event stars since opening its doors in 2019. This includes Chris Jericho, Arn Anderson, Billy Gunn, Adam Copeland (Edge in WWE), Mark Henry, Sting and Paul Wight (Big Show in WWE).
It remains to be seen how often Foley will appear on AEW programming and what his role will be. The bottom line is that it's another notable move for AEW, as they try to find more ways to close the gap with WWE.
