Kitchen envy is a very real thing. It's like seeing someone driving a souped-up version of your exact same car and realizing that you could have it all, too. Do we need a $20,000 La Cornue range? Probably not, but we wouldn't be mad at it either. We could always use more cabinets and storage space, and who doesn't want a walk-in climate-controlled pantry that allows you to store produce and cut flowers at optimal temperatures?

It's not like we're unhappy with our kitchen or anything; it's just that every now and then we're reminded that it could be so much more. Case in point, the internet's favorite grandma, Barbara "Babs" Costello, also known as @brunchwithbabs, showed off her stunning kitchen renovation, and as happy as we are for her, we're also seething with jealousy. In the video, Babs walks viewers through the modern conveniences she added to the 1800s home that was originally a basket shop and we've officially added all of her choices to our list of must-haves for our dream kitchen.

From the genius mixer lift for her KitchenAid that neatly tucks away inside a cabinet to the two beverage fridges and microwave integrated into the island, Bab's clearly knows her way around a kitchen reno. Of course, the pièce de résistance is that stunning Aga Range, which features several cooking options, from convection to conventional, and even a dedicated broiler. And just in case you were wondering, it'll cost you at least $13,000.

All of the appliances we chose for the Basket House Kitchen We bought an 1800s home that was originally a basket shop, and our renovation is finally complete. We call it the Basket House. I could pinch myself because it turned out even more beautifully than I ever imagined. Of course, the kitchen is one of the most important rooms for me. What I love most about it is that it feels peaceful, which isn't always something you can say about a kitchen. Every piece of the kitchen was chosen with intention and purpose. The Basket House doesn't have a tremendous amount of storage, so we had to be very strategic about how everything would function, where things would be stored, and how the space would work day to day. We incorporated unique cabinetry that looks like traditional cabinets but is actually made up of clever pullouts, hidden storage solutions and appliances. At the very top of my list is the stand mixer storage. It still amazes me every single time I pull it out to use it and funny enough, it's nearly the first thing I show everyone who comes into the house. No more lugging the stand mixer up from the basement or pulling it out from some faraway cabinet. All of the appliances blend beautifully into the kitchen surroundings. We worked with @ajmadison for all of our appliances, and it was such a wonderful experience because they carry an incredible selection of major appliance brands. Their knowledge, expertise, and guidance throughout the selection process made such a difference. The Aga stove looks as though it was made specifically for this kitchen. While there was a slight learning curve at first, it continues to amaze me. The way it cooks, holds heat, and performs so many different functions is truly remarkable. Most of the other appliances, including the Liebherr refrigerator, Monogram beverage drawers, and Monogram dishwasher were panel-ready, allowing them to seamlessly blend into the kitchen décor. I truly wouldn't change a thing about this kitchen. It is my little slice of peace. @ajmadison @agarangeusa @monogramappliances @liebherrappliancesus @lgusa

She also showed off her impeccably organized Liebherr fridge, which, like all of her other appliances, seamlessly blends in with the surrounding raised panel cabinetry painted a creamy shade of beige. Go ahead and add on another $10,000. Can you tell we're turning green? Although she focused mostly on the appliances she chose for the reno, we couldn't help but be distracted by all the other gorgeous little details in the background.

The Basket House by the Details

Vintage copper pots practically dripping from the walls, the beautiful ogee-edged marble slab covering each countertop, and, of course, the gorgeous Delft tile backsplash that was clearly custom-made to be a nod to the home's charming name: Basket House. Even the French toile plates and beautiful serving bowls staged around the space add additional whimsy and character to the already breathtaking backdrop. Obviously, fans were blown away by the reveal, with several saying, "I have never been more jealous in my life." Honestly, same.

"All of this. Yes, please," commented one person. "Stunning!" another fan exclaimed. One fan even went so far as to ask the question that's on all of our minds, "Are you looking to adopt a grandchild? " If so, consider this our formal application. In the meantime, if you need us, we'll be in the corner crying over Bab's kitchen and trying to figure out how to recreate it for ourselves at a fraction of the budget.
