Stray Orange Tabby Walks Up to Family Asking for Help-Then Refuses to Leave Their Side
Adding a few furry friend to the family is a big decision, but sometimes it couldn't be clearer when the right time-or the right animal-comes around. This is precisely what happened on May 12, when @jamienoelb, her husband, and her daughter met an outgoing orange tabby cat during an afternoon walk in the park. The starving and injured kitty ran straight up to them for help, and they couldn't turn a blind eye to his sweet begging.
In fact, it was love at first sight all around! Despite being in rough shape, the orange cat was as sweet and easygoing as can be, and it didn't even take a day for Jamie to realize that she wanted to adopt the friendly feline.

The cat distribution system works in mysterious ways, but it knew exactly what it was doing when it brought this stray cat to his forever family. They all fit together as if they'd been together for years! Between Jamie's nurturing and the kitty's easygoing attitude, there couldn't have been a better match.
"Orange cats are the best, especially orange male cats!" one viewer commented. "They are the most lovable cats ever." No one knows what it is, but there is something about orange cats that makes them seem especially extroverted and entertaining.

From cuddling up with his mom to taking his first bath in the sink, this kitty made the most of every moment of comfort. If only he knew he'd be living the good life permanently! This is precisely the kind of love and pampering that every cat deserves, and it's heartwarming to know there are people like Jamie who are ready to give kitties like him a forever home.
A Rescue Cat's First Days At Home
As wonderful as this stray cat's rescue story may be, it doesn't reflect the average experience of bringing home an adopted cat. Many kitties need days, even weeks, to decompress in a small space before exploring the rest of their home, and that's perfectly alright.
With a little love and time, any rescue cat will learn that they're safe and loved. That's the magic of rescuing a pet!
