Golden Retriever Throws Hilarious Temper Tantrum Over Going to the Groomers

No one likes to make dogs do things they don't want to. But sometimes it's just for their own good. One of those things is taking a bath and going to the groomers.

Even though Beau the golden retriever has made his feelings clear about not wanting to head to the groomers, it's something that has to be done for his own well-being. Unfortunately, that isn't going to make the battle any easier for his mom, who is desperately trying to get him to go to the mobile groomer waiting outside their home.

The entire ordeal, captured from Mom's point of view, is probably the most relatable moment in every pet parent's life, no matter the breed or species. There's clearly nothing more symbolic of having a dog than the dreaded bathtime temper tantrum.

Beau Isn't Going to the Groomers If He Has His Way

Scurrying through the house, Beau is going to do his best to avoid the groomers at all costs. From dodging his mom's reach to hiding on his parents' bed, Beau the golden retriever will find a way. Beau will even use his dad as a shield to protect himself from getting captured.

Despite his paws and protests, nothing was going to save this adorable pup from getting groomed. Especially after his mom mentioned he was "stinky" and "scruffy." Unfortunately for Beau, none of this mattered as he was eventually caught by his mom and put on his leash. Unwillingly heading outside, Beau made one last attempt to avoid the mobile groomer's van, only to realize, in typical toddler fashion, it was his friend and remember he didn't actually hate the groomers.

Once his ordeal was over, Beau was clean, fresh, and well-groomed. Almost as if he had completely overreacted to the entire situation. In the comments, users couldn't get enough of Beau's handsome look, and even gave his mom a few suggestions on how to grab him next time. "Lift with the knees. Air jail makes everything simpler," suggested one viewer. Another user added, "The Black Eyes Are Adorable."

While we doubt that Beau will learn his lesson this time around, we are sure his mom will try a few new tricks to make sure the tantrum lasts a little shorter next time.
