Stubborn Golden Retriever's Refusal to Go on Walk Is Such a Mood
Sometimes, we just want to take a day off and spend the whole day, and this adorable Golden Retriever was not in the mood for a walk.
In a funny TikTok video, the dog named Pilot refused to go for a walk with his mom, despite her attempts to convince him. In the video, Pilot stood his ground while his mom tried to get him to go on his daily walk.

"Sir, can we please go for a walk?" his mom asked him while he put his paw on the leash. "Let's go... you've been inside all day."
Pilot's mom kept tugging on his leash, but he still refused to move or walk with her. At one point, Pilot even tried to move back and put pressure on the leash so she couldn't make him walk.
Fans online couldn't get enough of the adorable interaction, with some users defending Pilot's actions.
"He needs a kiss and belly rub," one user suggested, while another said that "he just wants to snuggle ." Other users said that they dealt with the same problem, with one user saying, "Okay, so it never ends??? My girl is 8 months old, and we have sits, not walks ."

"It's his day with the one brain cell," another joked in the comments. "He's so smart with the paw placement."
One person suggested that Pilot's mom "gotta throw the word grandma in there and watch him speed run."
Why dogs may not want to walk
There can be several reasons your dog may not want to walk.
According to Pedigree's blog, some of those reasons may indicate a health issue or fear and anxiety about their environment. Other reasons include the weather and even improper leash training.
Once pet parents identify the exact reason their pet won't go for a walk, there are several solutions they can try if their pet still refuses to walk.
Some of the tactics Pedigree suggests include "introducing your dog to leash walking with short walks near home, creating positive associations with walking by playing with your dog before," and "making sure your dog is comfortable in their equipment, as well as the weather."
Sometimes it can also help to switch up your typical walking route to make it more exciting for your pup. It's also important to give your pets plenty of rest and water breaks, especially if they refuse to walk in the middle of a walk.
