Odell Beckham Jr. Visits Giants, Eyes NFL Return
It's amazing what a flag football game can do for your career.
In the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, a game which featured NFL stars, flag football players, and celebrities, Odell Beckham Jr. showed he still had it. Beckham displayed his trademark athleticism and hands, leading to rumblings about a possible return.
Beckham never officially retired, and last played for the Miami Dolphins in 2024.
He burst onto the scene as a rookie for the Giants in 2014, tallying 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in only 12 games. His career started with three consecutive All-Pro seasons. Beckham was seen as one of the best receivers in all of football along with guys like Antonio Brown and Julio Jones.
Injuries derailed a promising career, but he isn't giving up yet. With Malik Nabers coming off a serious knee injury, and Wandale Robinson leaving for the Titans in free agency, the Giants have a need at receiver.
After trading Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals for the 10th pick in this week's draft, the Giants have been tied to wide receiver Jordyn Tyson. The Arizona State star has risen up draft boards after a successful private workout for scouts.
No one has illusions that Beckham will suddenly return to his former self, but he is still only 33 years old. If he can prove he can stay healthy, he can probably be a serviceable number three option for a team.
The process is still in the beginning stages, but this visit proves that Beckham is serious about a return in 2026.
