Netflix Quietly Removing 8 More Original Titles

Netflix releases up to 700 original titles per year and while many are home runs for the streaming platform, not everything ends in success.

The biggest streaming platform in the United States has been losing a steady amount of original content – mostly due to licensing issues or agreements. What's on Netflix released a new list of original content that will be leaving Netflix over the next two months.

With 11 titles in total and three that have already left, fans might want to start watching these next eight originals before they disappear.

Netflix Removing 8 Original Properties

For starters, What's on Netflix warns: "All removals from Netflix are subject to change due to licensing agreements. Netflix may extend licenses or remove titles earlier than listed. Removal dates may also vary by region."

The Ruthless (Movie)

Leaves Netflix on April 19

The film follows, a rebellious teen who grows up to become one of Milan's most ambitious criminals during the golden years of the 'ndrangheta Mafia in the 1980s. It stars Riccardo Scamarcio, who is most well-known in the United States for his role in the John Wick franchise.

Fern Brady: Autistic Bikini Queen (Stand-up Special)

Leaves Netflix on April 22nd

"The irreverent Scottish comedian tackles big themes like death, decline and the disappointments of middle age in her stand-up special filmed in Bristol," Netflix writes.

NASCAR: Full Speed (Documentary series)

Leaves Netflix on May 7th

"Fueled by passion and chasing NASCAR Cup glory, drivers and their teams compete for the chance to make history in this sports documentary series," Netflix writes. The series was taken over by Prime Video and started streaming on March 5.

Super Me (Movie)

Leaves Netflix on May 7th

Super Me follows a struggling screenwriter who discovers his lucrative ability to bring antiques from his dreams into the real world, but his new life soon unravels. It debuted to underwhelming response with fans giving it just a 5.8 (out of 10) on iMDB.

It's Bruno! (Series)

Leaves Netflix on May 17th

The short-form series (it's episodes are just 15 minutes) follows a man and his beloved dog, Bruno, as they stroll through the streets of Buswick, Brooklyn. It received rave reviews from critics (100% on Rotten Tomatoes) and fans (90%), but failed to capitalize with a second season.

Rachel Feinstein: Big Guy (Stand-up Special)

Leaving Netflix on May 21st

"From her firefighter husband's unflattering pet name to her mom's aggressive accessorizing, Rachel Feinstein lets loose in this stand-up comedy special," Netflix writes.

Mob Psycho 100 (Series)

Leaves Netflix on May 22nd

This series is based on the hit manga by ONE (the creator of One Punch Man) and isn't to be confused with the anime series. The live-action adaptation centers on Shigeo Kageyama, aka Mob, an incredibly awkward eighth-grader who suppresses his emotions to keep his god-like psychic abilities from exploding.

Black Space (Series)

Leave Netflix on May 27th

"A rogue detective with unorthodox means leads an investigation into a massacre committed by unicorn mask-wearing assassins at an Israeli high school," Netflix says of the one-season international thriller.

Viewers will have to fly to Netflix to watch these movies, shows and stand-up routines before they're gone by next month.
