The comments on TikTok are pretty hilarious. "OMG, obsessed with him. He is the cutest Golden Retriever I have ever seen," gushed one. "Omg, he's stunning," said another. "Can I buy him?" asked one other viewer, getting straight to the point.

Many were so busy looking for the "add to cart" button that they couldn't think straight. And others just bypassed everything and went right to begging, "Mommy, I want. Mommy."

Why This Golden Retriever's Coat Looks So Unusual

Golden Retrievers aren't typically known for having markings like this, which is exactly why this pup has everyone going bonkers.

According to a breakdown of canine coat genetics from guidedogs.com, a dog's coloring is influenced by different genetic switches. While it all gets very complex, unusual markings like this can sometimes come down to unexpected pigment expression or rare variations at the cellular level.

That's not to say this is 100% for sure responsible-without a DNA test we can only guess. Markings like this can also show up when a dog has mixed breed ancestry, even if, overall, the appearance looks largely Golden Retriever.
