Even the chillest, happiest indoor cats probably daydream about escaping to the outside world every now and then, and who can blame them? Being outside has everything a kitty loves, like exploring all the new and curious things they wouldn't otherwise notice.

British Longhair siblings, Biscuit and Blueberry, have only recently started having supervised outdoor time, and now they're certified garden fairies!

It's soothing to watch such whimsical, majestic, and glorious-looking felines do what their ancestors did for centuries. These beautiful cat sisters are new to navigating the outdoors, but already, they're learning a lot. Catching bugs is a new pastime favorite, and if they had some cute costume wings, the whole scene would be movie material!

As such stunning creatures who've been the "indoorsy" type all this time, a lot of things are new to Biscuit and Blueberry.

For example, as thrilling as the garden is, Blueberry has only just discovered what stairs are, and she had the time of her life! No game partner needed because she's perfectly fine zooming up and down all on her own.

The Benefits of Supervised Outside Time for Cats

Cats of all breeds are curious by nature, and there's nothing more interesting than all the sights, sounds, and scents of the outdoors. By enacting supervised outside time for indoor kitties, they'll enjoy mental and physical benefits galore. Having an outdoor adventure is also a great way to reduce everyday boredom and destructive behaviors while also giving them new experiences.

When coupled with a leash or harness (which is a great practice in patience, BTW!), cats like Biscuit and Blueberry get to fulfill their hunting instincts in a controlled, safe setting. It doesn't hurt that it's an excellent way to bond by engaging in new sights with them.

You'd never expect to see such pretty princesses like Biscuit and Blueberry trading their pampering self-care indulgences for a rugged day among the wild, but these two fluffy garden fairies make it look easy!
