It is always upsetting when our pet gets injured.

Even if it's not a bad injury, it is still scary and can be quite stressful (not to mention expensive).

The one consolation is that sometimes pets become even more adorable when they are injured (though we would never wish it on any of them!).

Case in point, with Lady, the Dachshund. She recently hurt her nail and had to get a teeny-tiny, adorable cast on one of her front legs, and it is just so cute!

Poor baby cracked her nail while playing outside can't stand how cute it is, the little cows?!

Her mom, influencer Abby Baffoe, made a video to share the news and wrote, "My dog had to get a mini cast - why is this the saddest but cutest thing ever? Poor baby cracked her nail while playing outside can't stand how cute it is, the little cows?!"

Then she shows her carrying little Lady in a sling bag with her adorable purple cast and then sleeping on her mom.

Lady looks like the vet may have also given her some painkillers that made her super sleepy.

Of course, the comment section was on point, wanting to know what happened to Lady, but also agreeing that she looked too cute with her cast.

One person wrote about the cast, "Could it be any smaller? Can she be any cuter?? LADY!!"

And another just sent a note of support, "Flowers for u pookie wookie, get well soon".

Lady the Dachshund Recently Celebrated Her Gotcha Day

Recently, Lady and her mom celebrated the anniversary of her Gotcha Day.

Gotcha Day is the day a dog was adopted from a shelter, humane society, or breeder and brought to their forever home.

Lady's mom decided to celebrate the day by posting a photo slideshow of some of their first memories.

The photo slideshow showed Lady's glamorous life with her mom, full of travel, photo shoots, and shopping sprees!
