Humanoid Robot Edward Chases Boars in Viral Video

His name is Edward Warchocki. He's a humanoid robot, and his antics have been well-publicized.

The Unitree G1 robot has rubbed elbows in Poland's parliament. He's even made an appearance on morning television. But this stunt -- if you want to call it that -- tops them all.

Edward has gone viral after a video showed him running after wild bars in Warsaw. The person running his X account tweeted the hilarious video with the caption, "I'm herding the wild boars into the forest."

As you can see in the video, Edward chases the wild boars in a Warsaw neighborhood. They appear to be running across a parking lot, with Edward not far behind. The boars eventually fade into the night, with Edward hilariously waving goodbye.

"Personally, the sight of this robot chasing boars does not surprise me anymore," Edward's co-creator, Radosław Grzelaczyk, said in an interview with TVP World.

Who Owns Edward Warchocki?

According to TVP World, Grzelaczyk bought Edward after training in robotics in China in late 2025. It's reported that Grzelaczyk started testing what the robot could do in everyday life.

Grzelaczyk says Edward is the same robot people in Warsaw see all over town. And it was Edward's first owner who thought it would be hilarious to dress the robot with a backpack and a diamond Rolex.

TVP World reports that Edward is linked to a local AI model and to broader sources of information. The outlet goes on to report that Edward "navigates using a lidar scanner and can walk autonomously or be controlled remotely."

But in public, Edward's team is close by and controls him manually for safety.
