Hanford High School grad earns Eagle Scout rank

Hanford High School senior Jason J. Hayes has earned the Eagle Scout rank from Troop 228, Blue Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Hayes’ service project involved the planning, coordination and leadership to remove almost 1,000 square feet of dead grass from the Tri-City Dog Park, and laying about 3,000 square feet of new sod. The new grass provides more room for dogs to run and play.

A Court of Honor ceremony was held May 9 to celebrate Jason’s service completion and Eagle Scout rank.
