Lorna and Don Good

Lorna and Don Good of Kennewick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 29 with family.

They were married Jan. 29, 1966, at St. Johns Catholic Church in Denver. Monsignor Moran officiated.

Don’s career spanned 40 years in the emergency fire service, and in 1977 the family relocated to Kennewick from Denver to accept a job as fire chief. He held that position for 27 years, retiring in 2004.

When the couple met, Lorna was a beautician, which she continued until retiring in 1999.

They enjoy their retirement and attending all their grandchildren’s activities, camping, hunting, fishing, riding ATVs and annual crabbing trips to the Oregon coast.

They have two sons, Mark and Mike (Michelle), who live in the Tri-Cities.

They have three grandchildren.
