Army Pvt. Luis F. Gutierrez has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Gutierrez is the son of Paula J. Escobar of Outlook.

He is a 2015 graduate of Sunnyside High School, Sunnyside.
