Elaine and Dan Kutschkau

Elaine and Dan Kutschkau of Kennewick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to San Diego and Coronado, Calif., and then with family on Oct. 17.

They were married Oct. 16, 1965, in Lind. They moved to the Tri-City area in 1966.

Elaine worked as a nurses aid, farm bookkeeper and as a partner in various investments and businesses.

She has been active at the Kennewick First Presbyterian Church with Chancel choir, Bible study, the women’s group, being a Deacon and various other activities. She was active in PEO, Jaycee Women’s Club and the Children’s Orthopedic Hospital Guild.

Dan served in the Navy and worked at Big Bend Electric Coop. He was involved in real estate investments, farming and cattle.

He has been active at Kennewick First Presbyterian Church with Bible study, as a Sunday school teacher, as an Elder and various committees. He was active in the Jaycees and the Cattlemen’s Association.

They have three children: Kimberly J. Allen (Ben) of Kennewick; Dean A. Kutschkau (Katrina) of Kennewick and Jody L. Haun (Chris) of Boise.

They have six grandchildren.
