Anniversaries: Overcash
Rosalie and Francis Overcash
Rosalie and Francis Overcash of Pasco celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 1 at a luncheon with family and friends at the Pasco Christian Church.
They were married July 24, 1965, in Pasco and then moved to Glascow, Mont., where Francis was serving in the Air Force at the Strategic Air Command Base. Eight months later he was sent to Vietnam and Rosalie moved back to Pasco.
Rosalie is a licensed practical nurse with further medical training in pharmacology and intravenous therapy. She worked at Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco for 30 years before retiring in 2005.
Francis worked for Franklin County Road Department as a district grader operator and evenings for Moon Security. In 1974 he was deputized to work for the FAA anti-hijacking program. He retired in 2006 from the Franklin County Road Department.
They are members of the Pasco Christian Church.
They have three children, Teresa Voag of Everett, Tina Dexter of Burbank and Darren Overcash of Bonney Lake.
They have seven grandchildren.
