Judith and Jerry Dilley
Judith (Nycum) and Jerry Dilley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 9 with an open house for family and friends.
They met at Edinboro State College in Pennsylvania in 1962 and were married Aug. 7, 1965, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kittanning, Pa.
Jerry became an Air Force pilot and they were stationed at various air bases. After 20 years, Jerry retired in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and they both taught school. Jerry taught chemistry and physics at Seton Catholic High School and Judith taught art education at Cumberland Head Elementary School. They taught for 20 years and retired again.
The Dilley’s moved to the Tri-City area in 2010. They are members of the Tri-Cities Carving Association, Allied Arts Association and the Larson Gallery Guild in Yakima.
They have two children, Jessica Dilley and Joshua Dilley both of Plattsburgh, N.Y. They have one grandson.
