Carolyn and Tom Brandon

Carolyn and Tom Brandon of Pasco will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in the spring of next year.

They grew up in Pasco and met while attending Pasco Junior High School in 1958. They were married Nov. 21, 1962, at the Episcopal Church in Pasco, during a break in preparation for Columbia Basin College's Junior Rose Bowl Game.

Carolyn worked at Korten's Music Store, Young's of Pasco and other retail positions before retiring in 2003.

Tom worked for the Pasco School District for more than 40 years retiring in 2009.

They have two children, Jody Brandon of Richland, and Brooke Dauenhauer of Kennewick.

They have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
