E'Reani and Maurice Schmidli
E'Reani and Maurice Schmidli of Pasco celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary April 28 at their daughter's home in Pasco.
They were married April 26, 1952, in Klamath Falls, Ore. and moved here in 1956 from Malin, Ore.
E'Reani was a security guard at Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., before farming with her husband on a irrigated farm in Basin City and north of Pasco for 25 years.
She then worked at Preston Wine Cellars as a tasting room and gift shop manager and treasurer for Tri-Cities Wine Festival. She retired in 1983.
Maurice is a veteran of WWII, Battle of the Bulge. He attended college at the University of Missouri and was a self employed farmer from 1952-1980.
They are members of the Tri-Cities Wine Society, Veterans of the Battle of the Buldge, American Legion, VFW and the Tri-City Elks.
They have three children, Stepheni Adams of Pasco; Cindi (Kirk) Andrews of Pasco; and Martin "Buck" (Cecelia) Schmidli of Pasco.
They have five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
