Country music star Dierks Bentley is coming to Kennewick on Sept. 23.

He’ll perform at the Toyota Center as part of his Somewhere on a Beach Tour.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. June 17 through Ticketmaster and the Toyota Center box office.

Tickets prices haven’t yet been announced.

The show is a significant “get” for the Toyota Center, which has another big concert planned in the next few months — the legendary hard rockers KISS.

That band is playing July 10 as part of its Freedom to Rock tour.

Bentley will be joined in Kennewick by up-and-coming artists Randy Houser and Tucker Beathard.

“We’ve been looking for some great country bands to bring into town. We’re very excited about it,” said Jude Strode, Toyota Center spokeswoman.

Bentley is a multi-platinum selling artist known for hits from What Was I Thinkin’ to Drunk on a Plane.

His eighth studio album, Black, was released earlier this year.
