At-risk youth fundraiser to highlight Mid-Columbia food, drink

If you want to enjoy local food and drink while supporting efforts to help at-risk youth, mark your calendar to head to Benton City’s Fidelitas Winery on June 2.

The winery’s Red Mountain Tasting Room will be the site for Taste Ignite, a fundraiser for Ignite Youth Mentoring. The nonprofit works to pair kids with mentors to help them on a path to success.

Winemaker Charlie Hoppes will be on hand as Fidelitas serves specialty wine for the event. Castle Event Catering will provide appetizers while Ethos Bakery will have desserts.

Tickets are $50 when bought in advance, or $60 at the door, though space is limited. Tickets can be bought at bit.ly/TasteIgnite.

Fidelitas is at 51810 N. Sunset Road in Benton City.
