Bluewood ski area to open Dec. 18

The Bluewood ski area is set to open Dec. 18 for the 2015-16 season.

“We’re stoked that opening day is almost here, and we can’t wait to welcome our guests and go out and have fun,” said Kim Clark, general manager, in a news release.

The Skyline Express and Platter Pull lifts are scheduled to run opening day; officials aren’t yet sure about the Triple Nickel lift.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Full day lift tickets are $39 for adults and $32 students, seniors and active military. Children age 6 and younger and seniors 70 and older ride free.
