Dayton Historic Depot debuts new quilt exhibit
The Dayton Historic Depot, 222 E. Commercial St., has a new quilt exhibit.
It features 21 quilts from community members. The quilts were made between 1880 and 1980, showing patterns, fabrics and techniques, a news release said.
“This exhibit examines quilts as a window into history: the history of Dayton, the history of the movement of people, the history of a family and the history of an individual and her legacy,” it said.
A celebration and awards ceremony is planned for July. For more information, call 509-382-2026 or go to www.daytonhistoricdepot.org.
