Hermiston Young Artists Competition deadline set Feb. 27

The deadline to apply for the 15th annual Young Artists Competition put on by Inland Northwest Musicians in Hermiston is Feb. 27.

The competition is March 8 at Hermiston High School, 600 South First Street. It’s open to instrumentalists and vocalists up to age 25, with cash awards given to division winners. Some participants will be picked to perform with the Inland Northwest Orchestra in May.
