Rowena Chess students sing during Veterans Day assembly

Third-grade students at Rowena Chess Elementary School in Pasco include sign language as they sing "We are Thankful for the USA" Friday morning during their Veterans Day celebration assembly. The school is home to the district's elementary deaf education program. About 140 students from six classrooms took part in the event featuring historical information and patriotic songs.
