New Year’s fireworks sales start in the Tri-Cities. Here’s where to buy
Tri-Citians can buy legal fireworks at a limited number of spots before the window opens to set them off on New Year’s Eve.
Washington law and most Tri-Cities jurisdictions allow the use of legal fireworks between 6 p.m., Dec, 31 and 1 a.m., Jan. 1.
The cities of Kennewick, Pasco, Richland and West Richland as well as Benton County allow the use of “safe and sane” fireworks during the state window.
Franklin County does not allow fireworks in unincorporated areas.
TNT Fireworks sells fireworks that are lawful in Washington at a stand in each of the three cities.
