Glenn Miller Orchestra to perform Aug. 20 in Richland

The renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform Aug. 20 at the HAPO Community Stage at John Dam Plaza in Richland.

Gates open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. The city of Richland is presenting the event.

“The Glenn Miller Orchestra is the most sought after big band in the world today for both concert and dance engagements. Still considered the greatest band of all time, its unique sound is loved by almost anybody that cares for dance music,” a news release said.

Food and beverage vendors will be on-site. Attendees may bring their own food and drinks, but beverages must be sealed upon entry.

Alcoholic drinks aren’t allowed unless bought in the designated beer and wine garden.

Chairs will be provided.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 the day of the show. They’re available through eventbrite.com.

Children 5 and under are free.
