‘The Princess King’ one-act play on stage July 29-30 in Prosser

The Prosser Conservatory of Theatre for Children is presenting The Princess King on July 29-30.

The performances “are the culmination of two weeks of education and rehearsals for 26 Lower Valley participants ages 8-14,” a news release said.

The family-friendly one-act play centers on a princess who defies her father’s rule and dares to take her own path.

Showtime is 7 p.m. July 29 and 1 p.m. July 30 at the Princess Theatre, 1228 Meade Ave.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for kids 9 and younger. They’re available at the door.
