Miss Tri-Cities pageant set July 23 in Kennewick

Fifteen young women are set to compete this weekend for the titles of Miss Tri-Cities and Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen.

The pageant is at 7 p.m. July 23 at Art Fuller Auditorium at Kennewick High School, 500 S. Dayton St.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $20 per person. They’re available through BrownPaperTickets.com and at the door.

Angela Kirkman Johnson and Jade Redinger, former Miss Tri-Cities title holders, will act as emcees.

Stefanie Maier and Sarah Niles, the Miss Tri-Cities and Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen, will both appear.

Sponsored by the Tri-City Water Follies Association, the Miss Tri-Cities program has awarded more than $275,000 in scholarships in the past 17 years, a news release said. Donations are being accepted for this year’s scholarships, with a $30,000 goal.

The event is a preliminary for the Miss Washington and Miss America pageants.

The Miss Tri-Cities contestants are Hannah Mowry, Alyssa Sisemore, Laura Howland, Madison Murphy, Sandra Gutierrez, Leslie Gordian-Torres, McKenzie Rose Kennedy, Taylor Plunkett and Hailey Fisher.

Miss Tri-Cities Outstanding Teen contestants are Abby Faulk, Lacey Fisher, Noël Anderson, Kennedy Bruce, Anne Lowe and Kayla Guzman.
