Auditions for The Rude Mechanicals next show set July 10-11 in Richland

Auditions for The Rude Mechanicals production of The Comedy of Errors are July 10-11 at the Uptown Theatre in Richland.

Call backs are July 12.

Performers planning to audition must email producer Ellicia Elliott to set up an audition time. Her email is ellicia@rmtheatre.org.

Performers should prepare a one- to two-minute comedic monologue from Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries. They’re asked not to perform a piece from Comedy.

The directors, Cyndi Kimmel and David Goss, are looking for comedic timing, character, and physicalization.

Performance are Sept. 22-24 and Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 1.

After Comedy, The Rude Mechanicals will take on Julius Caesar in January 2017 and A Midsummer Night's Dream in May/June 2017.
