Audition workshop planned June 29-30 in Richland

A workshop aimed at helping performers improve their audition skills, learn what to expect during the audition process and prepare to put their best self forward is June 29-30 in Richland.

Ellicia Elliott, artistic director of The Rude Mechanicals, is putting on the workshop at Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music.

She’s studied at Shakespeare’s Globe and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and the curriculum will include professional audition practices based on instruction she received there.

Sessions are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 29-30.

The workshop is appropriate for mature high school students and adults.
