Family movie series kicks off June 20 in Prosser

The Prosser Chamber of Commerce and Princess Theatre are teaming up for a Monday Movie Matinee series.

It starts June 20 with the 1960s classic The Parent Trap. The theater opens at 9:30 a.m. and the movie starts at 10 a.m.

The series continues with Secondhand Lions on June 27, The Mighty Ducks on July 11, Maleficent on Aug. 1, The Shaggy Dog on Aug. 8, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on Aug. 15, and Honey I Shrunk the Kids on Aug 22. All films are rated PG.

A donation of $1 per person is suggested to help with the effort to fix the theater’s roof.
