Father’s Day celebration set June 19 in Richland

A Father’s Day celebration is planned from 2 to 5 p.m. June 19 at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Road.

The third annual BBQ and Jazz event will include hamburgers and hot dogs, music from a five-piece jazz band and activities for kids, including sponge races, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a bean bag toss and modified lawn darts.

Cost is $10 for people ages 10 and older, and $5 for kids ages 3 to 9. Children age 2 and younger are free.

Tickets will be available at the door, although advanced purchase is encouraged. Tickets are available at the community center, or by calling 509-942-7529 or 509-539-0329.
