Meet Grover and friends at Toyota Center show

Elmo, Grover and Abby Cadabby will stop in Kennewick on June 15.

And the Sesame Street crew is bringing along a new friend, Chamki, from India.

In a live show at the Toyota Center, they’ll “explore the universal fun of friendship and celebrate cultural similarities, from singing and dancing, to sharing cookies,” a news release said.

The show, called Sesame Street Live: Make a New Friend, “offers a fun-filled, interactive learning experience, including up-close and furry interactions on the audience floor,” the release said. “Like television’s Sesame Street, each Sesame Street Live production features timeless tunes and lessons for all ages.”

Showtimes are at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The show centers on Chamki’s visit to Sesame Street. “Grover has a long to-do list for his friend, from kayaking to hot yoga, but Chamki is busy enjoying cookies with Cookie Monster, singing with Abby Cadabby, and doing ‘The Elmo Slide,’ ” the release said.

So, what will it take to get Chamki’s attention? Perhaps a visit from Super Grover?

Tickets start at $20. They’re available through the box office and Ticketmaster. Tickets purchased through the box office avoid service charges.

The Toyota Center is at 7000 W. Grandridge Blvd.
