‘Fiber Fusion’ show debuting in Richland in June

The show Fiber Fusion is running in June at Gallery at the Park in Richland.

Fiber Fusion is a yearlong juried exhibition and celebration of textiles and surface design techniques that’s coordinated by the state Surface Design Association. It’s visiting four cities, running at the Richland gallery through June 23 before moving on.

A reception is from 1 to 3 p.m. June 5 at the gallery, 89 Lee Blvd.

Fifty-four artists have work featured, including Vicki Piper Gerton of Richland and Anke Wildman of Prosser.

Some workshops are planned at the gallery to coincide with the show. They include Creative Carding on June 4 and Introduction to Silk Painting and Resisting Your Dyes with an Ice Kicker, both June 11. For information, go to www.galleryatthepark.org.
