Mariachi Madness concert set June 3 in Pasco

Pasco School District’s award-winning mariachi bands will perform June 3 in the auditorium at Pasco High School.

The event, called Mariachi Madness, starts at 7 p.m.

It will feature Pasco High’s Mariachi Reyes de Pasco and Chiawana High’s Mariachi Falcón de Rio, along with the Ochoa Middle School Mariachi Ensemble and the Kaliflorico Dance Group.

“I am so pleased that our community will have an opportunity to enjoy this concert. It has been such a pleasure to watch outstanding performances by our Mariachi students,” said Superintendent Saundra Hill in a news release. “I am proud of what our teachers and students have accomplished thanks to the support of our community.”

Allen Madsen directs the Mariachi Falcón de Rio and Ochoa Middle School Mariachi Ensemble, and Matthew Polk directs Mariachi Reyes de Pasco.

Pasco High is at 1108 N. 10th Ave.
