Minnesota singer-songwriter Dave Cofell to perform June 1 in Richland

Minnesota-based singer-songwriter Dave Cofell will perform at 8 p.m. June 1 at Emerald of Siam in Richland.

Admission is free.

Cofell plays 17 instruments and also is an artist, sculptor and fifth-Dan black belt in Quan Li K’an martial arts.

His latest album is called, A Thousand Shades of Blue.

Named the Best Original Musician of Central Minnesota four years in a row, he performs a variety of styles on the six- and 12-string guitar.

“From folk and blues songs to jazzy novelty songs, country, old standards and Americana, (his) shows are guaranteed to please all ages with something for everyone,” a news release said.

Emerald is at 1314 Jadwin Ave.
