Comedy star Ron White to perform May 21 in Kennewick
The famed “Blue Collar” comedian Ron White is bringing his brash, no-holds-barred style to Kennewick on May 21.
The 7 p.m. show at the Toyota Center is almost sold out. As of Monday, about 30 single seats still were available.
Some more seats may be released a few days before the show, a Toyota Center spokeswoman said. Tickets are being sold through the Toyota Center box office and Ticketmaster.
White, nicknamed “Tater Salad,” rose to fame as part of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which also featured Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy.
He’s sold more than 14 million albums solo and as part of the Blue Collar tour.
White also has two Grammy Award nominations, along with numerous TV and film credits.
The Texas native, who’s known to smoke cigars and sip Scotch on stage, is making a foray into politics. He announced last fall his candidacy for U.S. president as an independent.
White’s show in Kennewick is for mature audiences.
