Film on 1916 Irish rebellion to be shown at CBC
A documentary on the Irish rebellion of Easter 1916 will be shown May 2 at the Columbia Basin College planetarium, D Building, 2600 N. 20th Ave., Pasco.
The film, 1916: The Irish Rebellion, was produced at an institute of the University of Notre Dame and is narrated by Irish actor Liam Neeson, a news release said.
It includes rarely seen archival footage, interviews with experts and the untold story of how some Irish-Americans figured into the events preceding the Easter Rising.
The planetarium is on the west side of CBC’s Pasco campus. This event is free and open to the public.
