Walla Walla youth orchestra to perform April 25

Walla Walla Symphony’s youth orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. April 25 in Chism Hall at Whitman College.

Paul Luongo is music director and conductor.

The orchestra will perform pieces including the Carmen Suite by Bizet, Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni, The Great Locomotive Chase by Robert Smith, 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky and selections from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring by Howard Shore.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $2 per person or $5 per family. Proceeds will go to the orchestra.
