Spokane-based metal band Mercy Brown to play April 22 in Richland

The Spokane-based metal band Mercy Brown will perform April 22 at the Emerald of Siam in Richland.

Music starts at 9 p.m. Cover is $5.

Mercy Brown gained international attention when its lead singer took part in a viral video cover of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious from Mary Poppins. The video has racked up more than 4.7 million views on YouTube.

The four-piece band includes Sera Hatchett on vocals, Chris Tanaka Canwell on guitar, Josh Schultz on bass and Lunden Herndon on drums.

Three other bands also are set to take the Richland stage as openers. They are The Festering, Rasputin and Prevailing Existence.

The Emerald is at 1314 Jadwin Ave.
