Award-winning writer Kathleen Dean Moore to appear April 21 in Pendleton

Writer Kathleen Dean Moore will read from her recent book, Great Tide Rising: Toward Clarity and Moral Courage in a Time of Planetary Change, on April 21 in Pendleton.

The 7 p.m. event is part of the First Draft Writers’ Series at the Pendleton Center for the Arts.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Moore is award-winning author, a naturalist, professor and moral philosopher.

The center is at 214 N. Main St.
