Community Concerts of the Tri-Cities will wrap up its 2015-16 season by bringing in an acclaimed choral group.

Male Ensemble Northwest, or MEN, will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 9 at Faith Assembly, 1800 N. Road 72, in Pasco.

The group is made up of choral directors and professionals from throughout the Northwest, including Justin Raffa and Reg Unterseher from the Tri-Cities.

Both are involved with Mid-Columbia Mastersingers.

Male Ensemble Northwest started in 1982. Founder Howard Meharg of Longview wanted to put together a choral group and also inspire young men in public schools to join choirs, a news release said.

“In the years since its inception, MEN has appeared in concerts from local churches and auditoriums to regional and national audiences, always remembering to spread the message of male singing,” it said.

Tickets to the April 9 concert are $25 for adults, $10 for students and $55 for families. New subscribers who buy 2016-17 season tickets will get free admission.
